This material was salvaged from the Jim Beam Rickhouse that collapsed in Kentucky in 2019, saving and repurposing 100+ year old material and history that would otherwise end up in a landfill. It's rich history and character make it a perfect addition to any home bar, bourbon room, man cave, or living space.
Our Jim Beam shelves feature a skip planed top surface (smooth but leaving some natural texture) and a planed smooth bottom surface. The face of the shelves are left with their original rustic saw marks and texture.
The material used for this shelving is between 2 - 2 1/8 inches thick.
Due to the nature of reclaimed wood, character such as marks, nail holes, natural imperfections, grain patterns, and tones will vary.
All shelves are fully sealed with a matte poly finish.
