*****PLEASE NOTE******

WE ARE WORKING ON THE RIGHTS FOR THE USABLE CONTENT OF THIS PROPERTY. AT THIS TIME NOTHING SHOWN IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. We appreciate all the interest that we are receiving and will provide updates when they are available. Thanks for understanding.

******2nd NOTE
We do not own this building nor are we responsible for the demolition. We were asked if we were interested in saving it's contents and that is the extent of our involvement.

Had an interesting afternoon checking out a school that was built in 1923 and is being demolished. Lots of cool built ins, doors, light fixtures and more that we are hoping we can salvage. Never two days the same.

Gosh so many wonderful memories from this school. It saddens me to see what it became. Of course I didn't appreciate the beauty within this school when I went here. Wow!

Is anyone else furious to see all of the school-owned equipment that was left behind to rot? Many thousands of dollars of computer parts, filing cabinets, books — just all kinds of things that could have been used, recycled, or given away rather than left to ruin.

Sincerely, if someone makes keepsakes from the curtains and such I know there’d be a market for it. A lot of us loved that school.

There are some amazing pieces!

I spent my 8th grade year attending classes in this building. I remember finding a bat on the radiator next to my locker when I tried to open it for the first time! This building had a ton of character, and I enjoyed performing in plays and a musical on that stage.

I went to White!!! Last class that attended. It brings on sadness to see it torn down. 😔 it's full of asbestos and would cost more than it's worth to reclaim it. So many memories!!!

Are you selling this stuff ? I went to middle school here and would love to get my hands on some ok’d lockers or doors. Especially that sliding door

Loved that school!

Why don't they just open it up to the public to bid or buy items specially to the people of this area. People have many memories with the white building watched my sister get her college diploma there. And 2 of my grandparents graduated there as well.

If walls could talk...

Sucks to see my junior high in such disrepair. It was such a beautiful building.

Went to this school in 7th and 8th grade ,so sad to see this 😢

If this is white jr high I sang my very first solo on that stage back in 1978😳🎤🎤😲😲

I made my acting debut in 7th grade on that stage. So sad to see it go😥

My dad graduated high school here and I attended junior high here so saf

What history! What beautiful pieces!! May be interested in the doors !

I remember hanging out there! Good times with the horror film festival. ... also safety patrol duty 😄

Wow such beautiful stuff what a fun experience! If you ever need a laborer I love to come out on that kind of stuff💙

So many great pieces! I hope they keep/reuse or donate... you can’t find that kind of quality woodwork anymore!

I attended this school. It saddens me to see it so deteriorated! From the terrazzo floors to the marble bathrooms, the wood, lighting in the auditorium. Many fond memories. I can hear the footsteps on the stairs, the clanging of the lockers and loved sliding down the banisters. The auditorium was spectacular. Treat her kindly.

Is this white junior high?im sure now that I looked at the pics. This makes me sad to look at the decay. I love how the steps are worn from all the feet over the years. I hope you get the contract and make something beautiful froM it. So many memories in that building. Such a shame it can’t be restored. I know there is no heating system because the boiler was at the administration building long gone and a Rite Aide sits there now.

Awesome stuff in there, I hope you get it. And if you need help with any tear out I would love to try and help.

Wow! Sad and some really great stuff! I hope you get lots out of there!

I attended this school. Was part of the last class to ever walk it's halls. It has been my dream to be able to take one last walk thru with my camera and photograph this building before it is gone forever.

I played on this auditorium, badly, but I played. Many memories, so sad. Guess they just couldn't do anything with it. It would be so neat to just walk it, even now.

These doors were posted to our page, but we wanted to make sure they were seen by everyone. They were done out of the brown roof boards that we recently got in from a barn up by Cass City in the thumb. We love the original brown patina they have. These boards hadn't seen the sun in 100+ and you can't fake that look. Great work John and thanks for sharing! ... See MoreSee Less

It must be easy working from home when your office is this nice! What an incredible space. The walls are done with our faded red barn siding and the wainscoting done with our corrugated roofing. All kinds of cool decorative pieces as well. Love it! 😍 ... See MoreSee Less

Another set of our always popular beam benches just wrapped up. These were done with hand hewn beams that were stained and sealed. They sit on a set of custom welded legs that were made right here in Michigan for us. Each beam is a little bit different which makes these so incredible. 😍 ... See MoreSee Less

What our Customers are saying about us …..

Such a neat place! Awesome products, fair prices, and super nice guys! We will be back!.
Stella Maria

Sometimes you just need old hand hewn beams or circular saw marks on a piece of wood. The prices are good enough also to grab a few more neat boards while you are there.
Essen Davis

Reclaimed Michigan is a great store, the staff are friendly and they have a lot of reclaimed barn wood, barn doors, unique furniture and industrial items for sale! I used some barn wood to build a head board.
Paul Ballmann

Great prices! Awesome staff! I know nothing about wood and these guys were very helpful and patient.
